the goggles! they do nothing!
I’m having a hard time coming up with random titles for my posts. I’ll have to think of a creative way to generate new ones.
I’m working on a sort kludgy hack project thing. The basic gist of it is taking an old Toshiba E330 pda I found in a box, loading Apache on it (which in itself is a fun project), and then I’m going to hardwire the docking port to an external usb hard drive enclosure. I was sort of inspired by an imaginary product I saw on some design blog where some had mocked up an enclosure with an OLED screen, showing a WinDirStat sort of view of the drives contents. So, I figured that was pretty easy, until I discovered there’s no native PPC 2002 software for something like this. Hence the mention of Apache. I’m hoping I’ll be able to find a perl script, possibly something built in Javascript that does something similar. We’ll see. It doesn’t have any real purpose other than to just see if I can do it.
