Responsibilities include daily maintenance, support and implementation of a mixed Windows and Macintosh network for full service Large Format and Automotive OEM Graphics Company. Systems integration, project management and server administration including Windows XP Professional, Windows 2003 Advanced Server, Windows 2000 Server, WindowsNT 4, Solaris, Debian Linux, and Smoothwall Advanced Firewall.
Milestones include:
• Network upgrade from 10/100 to Gigabit for 75+ workstations and servers

• Full scale systems migration from peer to peer network to Microsoft Active Directory on Windows 2003 Advanced Server

• Implementation of Content Filtering and Monitoring software for all clients

• Wireless Security Camera Network with 24 hour recording. System viability was tested 3 months after initial installation of camera network, allowing business to capture on flim an employee that illegally entered premises after hours, and attempted to crack their safe. He’s in jail now 

• Assisted in company assimilation of proprietary 3M data including 3M ink formulas and population of a private database and front end to search, catalog and display Material Safety Data Sheets, and Ink Formulations.

• Programmed and maintained Roland, Wild, Gerber and I-Cut plotters. Consists of a strong grasp of proprietary plotter languages.

• Maintenance and operation of large format graphic UV solvent ink presses (3M/Legget and Platt, and HP)

Senior Help Desk Technician, Win.Net Communications; Louisville, Ky - 2003-2004

Responsibilities included troubleshooting of DSL, Cable, Dial-up, T-1 and ISDN connections in regards to private and commercial clients. Assisted in deployment of trouble ticket system, improving customer relations and callbacks by over 100%. Additional responsibilities included web, DNS and email server troubleshooting, web server maintenance, configuration of DSL equipment (bridged and PPPOE), local customer installations and troubleshooting of physical DSL/T-1 installations and migration of billing software. On call 24 hours for customers with Service Level Agreement contracts consisting of T-1+ and ISDN connections.
